The pool area is fantastic, and the happy hour is a fun way to relax after exploring. The nearby algae smell can be off-putting, especially if you want to enjoy the balcony. it's a nice spot with great amenities.

Compass Hotel offers a vibrant atmosphere with friendly staff and a fantastic pool. The breakfast was diverse and delicious, catering to all tastes. the rooms could benefit from better views, and some amenities need attention, like more comfortable bedding. Still, an enjoyable stay overall.

The staff is super friendly and goes out of their way to help. The breakfast has tasty options and there’s always fresh fruit by the lobby.
It wasn’t the cheapest option, but it’s worth it.

The room was spacious and nicely furnished, but the bed and pillows left much to be desired; they felt stiff and uncomfortable. I appreciated the walk-in shower, though the low water pressure made washing my hair a challenge. The lack of labeled toiletries was confusing. I was disappointed to find a stained chair and towel, indicating a need for better cleaning standards. Temperature control was adequate, but noise from the hallway could be disruptive at night. The complimentary breakfast setup was cramped, impacting the experience. Having a balcony was a nice touch, offering a lovely view.

The breakfast spread was fabulous, with so many options to fuel the day! The happy hour vibes were on point, thanks to the quick and friendly service from Matt. I loved the cozy, quiet rooms that made for a perfect night’s rest!

A great location near Anna Maria Island with stunning views. The restaurants offer excellent food, and watching dolphins from the terrace was a highlight. The saltwater pool is spacious and family-friendly. housekeeping fell short; rooms aren’t cleaned daily, and when they finally did come, one bed was neglected. The staff, while mostly friendly—thank you, Noah—could improve their approach to customer inquiries. the unpleasant odors detracted from the experience. A dog-friendly atmosphere is nice, but barking dogs diminished the resort feel. Room issues included broken fixtures and cleanliness concerns. For the price, it's reasonable, yet I expect better service and maintenance. Would recommend with reservations.

During my recent stay, I was thrilled to find that we were just a short drive from stunning Anna Maria Island and several beautiful beaches, making it easy to indulge in weekend strolls by the water; in fact, Bradenton Beach City Pier was just over 2 km away, and the serene Neal Preserve was literally only a few steps away. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable, with breakfast included which we enjoyed outdoors with lovely views. But I did notice that some of the on-site amenities were limited, and the check-in experience could be improved as it felt a bit disorganized.

Great location with stunning views. The free breakfast was a highlight, particularly enjoyed dining outdoors. Spacious rooms, but the air conditioning was tricky and firmness options for pillows were nonexistent. The pool area was lovely, although bug bites were an issue in the evening. Friendly staff, though the restaurant had limited options for dietary needs. Dog hair in the room was a surprise since it’s pet-friendly—perhaps designate certain rooms for pets? a charming spot for a quick getaway, especially for those avoiding island prices, but a few maintenance improvements would enhance the stay.

The whole hallway reeked of something awful, like a dog had an accident. Plus, our bed had weird stains! You’d think housekeeping would keep better tabs on cleanliness. Just gross!

The staff was friendly and the breakfast buffet was a feast! The view over the water is simply stunning and the pool area is a perfect relaxation spot.
Some towels at the pool would be nice.

The area was beautiful, perfect for Christmas vibes, and the hotel's theme was fun. The friendly staff and exceptional service stood out, particularly the attentive lady at the breakfast bar and Crystal at the bar. Breakfast was amazing with accommodating staff, offering a great start to the day.
Bugs were a nuisance by the pool in the afternoons, and the fire pit needed reminding to be turned on each night. Issues with room maintenance like a slow leak in the bathroom, poor drainage in the sink, and noisy A/C were a downside.

Having a blast at the outdoor pool, enjoying the fitness centre, and savoring the complimentary buffet breakfast. The beach shuttle made me feel like royalty.
Feeling like a criminal while looking for a cup in the lobby late at night - who knew it was such a crime? .

The TV in the room was awesome, tons of channels, and we all loved watching movies together during downtime. The pool felt like a mini water park, perfect for endless fun!
My kids wished for a game room for a more entertaining stay.

The staff at the front desk were welcoming, and we enjoyed the delicious breakfast with a good variety of options. The view from our balcony was stunning, where we got to see boats, manatees, and dolphins. we did encounter some issues during our stay. Unfortunately, the pool area left much to be desired. The water was cloudy, the pool itself was dirty, and there was no live musical entertainment as advertised. The lack of cleanliness extended to the dining area as well, with dust on tables near the windows. the customer service at the poolside bar was lacking, as we were told to get our own drinks. On top of that, the payment policy was a major inconvenience. We were shocked to find out that if you use a debit card, you may be charged double unless you use a credit card. This caused unnecessary stress for us as budget travelers. One positive aspect was the friendly staff members who tried their best to make our stay enjoyable. the issues with cleanliness, pool maintenance, and payment policies overshadowed our overall experience. It's a shame because the location and ambience were promising. while the Compass has its perks like friendly staff and a nice view, they need to address the cleanliness and customer service issues.

We could watch dolphins from our room window and enjoy the yummy complimentary breakfast buffet. The saltwater pool was lit; we even had a small pool party there! Plus, the location was bomb - close to wicked cool spots!
More lit nighttime activities would've been dope for us party animals.
